What age groups can join ASM Academy programmes?
ASM Academy programmes are designed for primary school children aged 5–11 years.
Activities are adapted to suit different age groups so that children can participate comfortably while developing their confidence, coordination and teamwork skills.
Do children need previous sports experience?
No previous experience is required.
Our sessions are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all ability levels, from beginners through to children who already enjoy sports regularly.
The focus is on participation, enjoyment and skill development.
Are programmes suitable for both boys and girls?
Yes.
All ASM Academy programmes are inclusive and open to all children, and activities are designed to encourage teamwork, participation and confidence for everyone.
What should my child bring to a session?
Children should normally bring:
• comfortable sports clothing
• trainers or suitable sports shoes
• a water bottle
• sun protection if sessions are outdoors
Schools will provide guidance if any additional items are required.
How long do sessions last?
Most sessions last between 45 and 60 minutes.
Holiday camp sessions may run for half-day or full-day programmes, depending on the activity schedule.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are normally delivered at:
• school sports fields
• school playgrounds
• indoor sports halls
• school activity areas
All sessions take place in safe, organised school environments.
How do I book a programme?
Parents can book available programmes through the Book Activities section of the website.
Programme availability may vary depending on school location and term schedules.
Can I book multiple sessions or programmes?
Yes.
Parents can book multiple activities depending on availability. Some programmes may also offer term packages or multi-session bookings.
Are sibling bookings allowed?
Yes.
Where possible, sibling bookings are welcomed. Some programmes may offer family or sibling pricing options, depending on the programme structure.
Are programmes delivered in a safe environment?
Yes.
Safety is a key priority for ASM Academy programmes. Activities are delivered in organised school environments with structured activity planning and clear session supervision.
What happens if my child is new to sports?
Many children join programmes with little or no sports experience.
Our activities are designed to help children:
